A Tiny (Dream) House

You may have seen George Clarke's Amazing Spaces on Channel 4, or Tiny House Nation also on Channel 4. The basic premise of these programmes is people living in much smaller spaces than people normally do. This really appeals to us for a whole bunch of reasons :-)

  • Freedom
  • Flexibility
  • Simplicity [1]

A secondary consideration is money. You can get a lot more bang for your buck if you think tiny. Houses are very expensive for what they are. We want some land to keep our horses on. Getting a traditional house and some land is very expensive. Getting a tiny house and some land is at least feasible.

The impossible we do at once, miracles, even tiny ones, take a little longer :-)

  1. And by simplicity what we really mean is de-clutter ... on a mammoth scale :-) ↩︎
